HISTORY AND DEVELOPMENT
Conti
Jumper Gardner & Associates, Inc. was founded in 1981 as Martin
Cagley & Conti a partnership of Martin Cagley & Martin with
Salvatore V. Conti, P.E.
In 1985 the firm became Cagley & Conti, Inc. and in 1991 Cagley
Conti & Jumper, Inc. when Bill Jumper,
P.E. joined the firm. In
1999 Britt Gardner became an officer in the company and the name
changed to Conti Jumper Gardner & Associates, Inc.
In 2002, the firm added Hunter Kornegay and Kevin Moeder as principals.
Founded
in Houston,
Texas, the firm opened a second office in Austin, Texas
in 2005. The firm has grown continuously in size, magnitude and type
of projects, and ability to attract and develop an outstanding
staff. Conti Jumper
Gardner & Associates are engaged solely in the practice of
consulting structural engineering.
The management of the firm and all projects is vested solely
in the officers and associates who are all professionals engaged in
the daily conduct of its business.
EXPERIENCE
Conti
Jumper Gardner & Associates have designed all types of structural
systems for many different building types.
Completed structures have included conventional reinforced
concrete, structural steel, composite construction, prestressed
concrete, masonry, wood and aluminum.
The
selection of the structural system is made based on serviceability
and consistency with the architects' design concept for the project.
The final design and documentation of the structure is
executed in a timely manner to produce an efficient, economical
structure that will assist the architect and owner to attain their
goals for the project
Completed projects have included commercial office buildings,
parking structures, educational buildings, hospitals, hotels,
industrial buildings, laboratories, prisons, residential buildings,
restaurants, retail facilities, sports facilities, university
buildings, warehouses, central plants, churches, bridges and other
special structures
